Digital Technology has built its technology platform through long-term strategic partnerships with a core group of companies: Adobe, InterSystems, Internap, Progress, Syncronex and Braintree.
For more than a decade, Digital Technology has sold more Adobe software licenses to the worldwide newspaper market than any other company. DTI integrates individual publishing applications from Adobe into scalable, professional-caliber multimedia publishing solutions: DTI ContentPublisher and DTI Advertising. DTI software uniquely delivers Adobe® InDesign® and Dreamweaver®, as enterprise-wide, multi-user design and pagination solutions.
The architectural foundation for DTI ContentPublisher, DTI Advertising and the entire solution set of DTI Health is a post-relational, Internet-aware database called Caché® from InterSystems. Caché is a high-performance object database that runs SQL five times faster than relational databases. Caché can handle all of the new kinds of content including audio and video, it can drive personalized Web pages because it is so fast it doesn’t need external page caching, it can create rich Internet browser applications using its Zen technology, faster than any other method.
Digital Technology partnered with Internap to architect DTI Cloud. Internap’s network services enabled DTI Cloud as: 1) a scalable cloud solution to accommodate growth requirements; and, 2) a route-optimized, global network that ensures customer content and advertising is delivered over the fastest-performing Internet path – backed by a 100% uptime Service Level Agreement (SLA). The two companies were honored with the 2011 Cloud Computing Excellence Award for innovation and progress in advancement of the cloud.
Digital Technology’s industry-leading DTI Circulation solution is built on the Progress Software database architecture. With the focus on audience as well as paid content, product bundling, pricing and subscriptions, circulation software has become more strategic than ever for news media publishers. DTI Circulation is the most widely used circulation software in the world. Progress chose Digital Technology as its Partner of the Year in 2010 citing that the company “exemplifies the true meaning of partnership, demonstrating the highest levels technology innovation, driving growth and evangelism within its customers’ industry and participating highly within the Progress community”.
Digital Technology has partnered with Syncronex to provide applications that help transition print subscribers to digital subscribers. Digital Paymeter, which is powered by Syncronex, is a customizable, cloud-based, digital subscription solution that gives publishers complete control over their paid content strategies and revenues.

Digital Technology has partnered with Braintree to provide credit card billing and transaction processing for print and digital and combo subscriptions managed with DTI Circulation. Braintree processes more than $4 billion in annual credit card volume from more than 2,000 merchants worldwide.
