- Invent products. Program CNC machines to create molds and parts. Vacuum-form parts from CNC created molds, and assemble them to create the products. I like making new kinds of things.

- Leadership, not micro-management. Empowering people to be able to learn, grow, and contribute their talents so that together we are better than any of us alone. Clearing out the obstacles that would prevent people from reaching new goals and levels of performance. People will rise to any challenge if they are enabled to do so, and given the support that they require.

- Make sure we keep ahead of technology changes. Over the years we chose the correct technology and used it first to help our customers.

- I like to be outdoors. Play with my kids. Skiing, horses, boating and sports.

- Newspapers have been in trouble and losing revenue. My job is to have the systems that make the job they have to do easier, that will cost less outflow of cash, and do it much faster and simpler. While doing this, we have to give them many new ways to increase revenue and increase the audience they publish to and with. Having the right technology allows these opportunities to happen.

- I like to win and help others win. I really like being with our customers for many years and having those relationships continue. I also like the changing technology and using it to help the world be a better place.
