DTI's Trainer Certification Process
At Digital Technology International, we value knowledge and experience. That is why we hire members of the training staff from a wide variety of backgrounds. Our numbers include journalists who had to learn how to teach; ad designers and managers who had to improve their technical skills; teachers who had to learn the newspaper business; and computer lovers who had to develop their people skills. It is a rare applicant who can demonstrate expertise in all three skill areas - publishing, teaching, computing - so the first obligation of Digital Technology University is to provide the missing pieces.
Task-centered Training Courses
The focus of task-centered training is to teach users how to use DTI software to perform the tasks necessary for their job, rather than teach them features, which they may never need to use. Students are trained to use features according to a workflow, making what they learn relevant and resulting in skills they can use immediately.
