Digital Technology International leads the industry in commitment to quality with its ISO 9001-94 certified Systematic Delivery Process(SM), and has consistently passed the rigorous semi-annual audits. Quality standards for each phase from software development to implementation consistently result in on-time, revenue-enhancing implementations.
Clearly defined steps at each phase of implementation provide a map for a
successful, timely installation.
DTI has combined many years of newspaper experience, software implementation
knowledge and practical philosophy into what DTI calls the “The Pyramid of
Implementation” - a visual representation of the logical progression of a
project from its conception through development and preparation, auditing
and planning, training and implementation. DTI’s experience has shown that
when this process is followed, a foundation is built that ensures the
successful installation of DTI’s publishing solutions.
Six levels (phases) constitute the Pyramid of Implementation, each
representing a logical phase in the project. Many tasks and procedures
comprise each level of the Pyramid.
1. Product & Documentation: Programming standards require DTI
engineers to adhere to solid rules of coding, code review and testing.
Documentation, including manuals, training outlines and checklists, are
created in harmony with development.
2. Auditing & Planning: Comprehensive workflow and technical
audits help in planning, scheduling of tasks, and establishing milestones
for each phase of the project.
3. System Hardware: According to audits, appropriate hardware and
network configurations are specified.
4. Configuration: This phase includes set up and configuration of
databases and client workstations for production, installation of interfaces
and training of support teams.
5. Training: DT University offers numerous courses and certification
levels to provide instruction using a workflow oriented curriculum.
6. Implementation: Implementation is a period of refining workflow
and user skills, as DTI Partners with the site during the transition to
proficiency in using the system in live production.
A Commitment to Quality:
DTI’s quality motto is “Total customer satisfaction, through continuous
process improvement.”
DTI knows that implementing newspaper pagination systems brings tremendous
challenges and changes to a site. As a result of our experience and our
commitment to quality, DTI customers will have a detailed plan of the
project in their hands and confidence in a successful experience.
