Who should attend?
Users of MediaPlus Circulation version 3.3 and higher, including controllers, key accounting individuals, systems administrators and key users.
Note: Client should bring period end reports to this class.
What are the requirements? Your newspaper should have been actively using MediaPlus Circulation for at least three months.
When is it offered? This is a two–day class. See above for available dates. $925 US per student, $825 US for each additional student.

Who should attend? New users who will be responsible for training other users of MediaPlus Circulation. Also, key users in need of a refresher course.

One of our most requested training courses, Circulation Advanced Key User, has been reconstructed and updated! This entirely new course covers the features and functionality introduced in the most recent versions of Circulation that are not typically covered in the Key User or Setup courses.
What is this class about? This advanced class is designed to enhance your understanding of system features to help you meet the challenges faced by many circulation departments today. Class topics include:
- Tasks – Learn how this new functionality released in MediaPlus Circulation 3.4 can streamline many of the processes you’re already doing today with manual efforts. We’ll teach you how to automate day to day procedures such as New Start Verifications, Complaint Redelivery Call Backs, Expiring Credit Card Contacts, Stop Saver efforts for subscribers approaching their End Grace, plus many others!
- Personalization – The graphical user interface screens are now customizable! Tabs in Customer & Route Services can be moved, docked, you can create your own custom tab or change the name of a field. We’ll show you how to personalize your screens to fit with your usage and business practices!
- Batch Processing Setup – Did you know you can automate many of the processes you complete on a daily basis? For example, you’ll learn how to make the Publishing Run a 3–Step procedure or run all the reports you process each day under one simple step!
- Single Copy Draw Management – Maximize your use of draw management tools such as the Return Draw Analysis and Group Draw Change. You’ll learn how to reduce costly excessive returns and turn draw changes into a simple, quick process for events such as school closings or a breaking story. We’ll also show you how you can start using the Returns Import the day you return home!
- Encryption Controls – Data security is paramount in today’s world. We’ll show you how to work with Data Masking and Database Encryption to maximize your security efforts!
Who should attend? This course is designed for experienced MediaPlus Circulation users that are looking for a better understanding of core functionality, ways to streamline processes and maximize their usage of the many features and functions currently available.
What are the requirements? Complete the MediaPlus Circulation Key User training course. Have an understanding of basic functionality such as Route Setup, Account Activation, Rating Setup (Subscriber & Account), etc. Also, your newspaper should have been actively using the MediaPlus Circulation system for at least 6 months.
When is it offered? This is a three–day class. See above for available dates. $1250 US per student.
- Understanding and relating database tables
- Understanding the data dictionary
- Basic report and query generation
Labs are included so you can try the new concepts as you learn.
Who should attend? Users of MediaPlus Circulation version 3.3 and higher.
What are the requirements? Your newspaper should have been actively using the MediaPlus Circulation system for at least six months. Also, you should have a solid understanding of the MediaPlus Circulation version you are currently using.
When is it offered? This is a two–day class. See above for available dates. $875 US per student.
Who should attend? Users with basic application knowledge of MediaPlus Circulation version 3.3 and higher, including system administrators and key users.
What are the requirements? You should understand the Policy and setup decisions made by your newspaper.Your newspaper should have been actively using the MediaPlus Circulation system for at least 3 months.
When is it offered? This is a two–day class. See above for available dates. $750 US per student.
