DTI SIGNS CIRCULATION AGREEMENT WITH GATEHOUSE MEDIA
Salt Lake City, – April 28, 2008 – Digital Technology International, the newspaper industry’s leading source for integrated news media business software systems, today announced a licensing agreement with GateHouse Media, Inc., to install DTI’s Circulation solution, MediaPlus® Circulation. The circulation solution will initially be installed at the Rockford Register Star (56,000 circ; Rockford, IL), the Observer–Dispatch (40,000 circ; Utica, NY), and the Norwich Bulletin (22,000 circ; Norwich, CT).
GateHouse Media, Inc. headquartered in Fairport, New York, is one of the largest publishers of locally based print and online media in the United States. GateHouse Media reaches nearly 10 million people weekly.
"We were looking for a proven vendor/partner to automate circulation for our papers. After extensive research, we concluded that DTI is the organization we want to partner with – they have an outstanding system; but just as important, they have a strong track record of success and have demonstrated that they are able to keep pace with changes in the industry" said Paul Ameden, CIO at GateHouse Media.
MediaPlus Circulation is a comprehensive, revenue–generating system that expertly manages the entire circulation business cycle, from processing subscriber information to delivering the newspaper. GateHouse is also installing two other DTI MediaPlus Circulation solutions: iServices Subscriber, a self–service application that allows subscribers to manage their own account information and Circulation InSight, which manages subscriber information.
