DTI Opens a New Office in Mexico and Expands Operations Worldwide
February 14, 2005 (Springville, UT) Digital Technology International (DTI) is pleased to announce that in its continued commitment to Latin America it has opened a new office in Mexico City, Mexico. DTI’s offices in the United States and the United Kingdom have also added staff to support growth in those respective markets.
“Opening this office is part of DTI’s global growth strategy,” said Jeff Carpenter, DTI COO. “Our research tells us that Mexico City is an excellent hub for broad travel and contact connections for the Latin American region. We are pleased with the recent sales success that we have had in Latin America and feel the time is right to increase staffing in an operation closer to these customers and prospects. We look forward to providing an excellent choice of products and services, more accessibly located, to this wonderful part of the world.”
“Having a record year in sales in 2004 makes such growth possible,” said Don Oldham, DTI CEO. “And we are expecting 2005 to be better than 2004.”
The new office is located at Blvd. Avila Camacho No. 36, Piso 10 Lomas de Chapultepec, 11000 México D.F.
Luis Gomez and Victor Delgado have been hired as editorial trainers and will work out of the office in Mexico. Gus Berges is DTI Sales Manager for this area of the world.
DTI’s Latin American customers include: El Comercio, of Peru, La Nación, the second largest national newspaper in Argentina, El Heraldo of Tegucigalpa, and La Prensa of San Pedro Sula, which serve 80% of the newspaper market of Honduras, and Listín Diario, located in Santa Domingo in the Dominican Republic.
In the United States additional trainers and software engineers have also been hired. Lee Irwin, Courtney Holzendorf, and Diana Diehl are new editorial trainers. Amanda Weikum is a new classified trainer and John Arbon has been hired as a Web trainer. Brian Leavitt, Scott Wallace, and Mark Webster work on DTI’s interface team. Ryan McLaughlin joins DTI’s Web development team and Grant Keele is the newest member of DTI’s Nexus project, which offers real–time integration of DTI’s advertising software with mySAP Business Suite from SAP.
DTI’s office in the UK has hired Paul Gillogaley as an area sales manager serving the Southwest region of the UK and Ireland and Lawrence Hopkins as a new editorial trainer.
