PBS ADDS CUSTOM REPORT GENERATOR TO ADVERTISING SYSTEM

New reporting tool offers the ability to easily create custom reports

Minneapolis, MN, – June 8, 2004 – Publishing Business Systems (PBS), North America’s leading source for integrated enterprise–wide newspaper business software systems, today introduced ReportPlus, to bring added reporting value to the company’s advertising system for tracking revenue, trends, usage, and more.

ReportPlus was developed to address a need for fast, flexible reporting that can accommodate users of all levels. ReportPlus eliminates the complexities of traditional report writing by helping users create reports using an intuitive point–and–click interface and a simple, step–by–step process. According to PBS CEO Steve Smith, “ReportPlus is so easy to use that even if you’ve never run reports before, you can do so easily with this tool”.

The application includes a comprehensive collection of standard reports and gives newspaper advertisers the ability to quickly create custom reports from over 100 data fields. Data can be analyzed according to need by simply comparing timeframes or by establishing ‘what if’ criteria. And, for information that is regularly reviewed or tracked over time, users can set up a schedule that will automatically generate and distribute reports to their desktop according to the date or time needed. Set up for group distribution is also easily available.
