Advertising Advertising is used to call to the attention of something to another. Display Advertising "Display" advertising is advertising that is sold by size, usually a percentage of a full page, rather than by the number of lines. Electronic Ads or Electronic Advertisements Electronic ads are digital advertisements created and used to make public announcements or to sell goods and services. Insert An insert is promotional material, usually a printed advertisement, which is then inserted within, and delivered with, the publication. Run of Paper (ROP) Advertisement A run of paper advertisement is a display advertisement that can positioned anywhere within the section, or newspaper. Software as a Service or SaaS Software as a service is a model of software deployment whereby a provider licenses an application to customers for use as a service, on demand. While the software and data is stored on the servers and accessed from a Web browser, SaaS software vendors usually host the application on their own Web servers. Telemarketing or Telesales is a method of direct marketing via telephone in which a salesperson solicits prospective customers to buy goods or services. Newspaper systems should include audience data that enables targeted telemarketing capabilities.
