DTI Surpasses Cloud 100 Milestone

Recent customer signings push total number of newspapers in DTI Cloud above 100

Orlando, FL-11, April 2010-At mediaXchange 2010 in Orlando, Florida, Digital Technology International (DTI™) announces that it now has more than 100 newspapers hosted in DTI Cloud , the company's robust cloud publishing environment. The company has announced the recent signings of Freedom Communications and Sun-Times Media, which allowed DTI to reach and surpass the 100 newspaper milestone with a total of 113. The milestone will be celebrated with an event during mediaXchange.

DTI Cloud is being selected by news groups for its secure and redundant data centers, abundant bandwidth and the highest level of network availability in the industry.

"We announced DTI Cloud one year ago at mediaXchange as a dramatic new way for newspaper publishers to reduce costs and increase competitiveness. Reaching the 100 newspaper milestone so quickly is a strong endorsement of our SaaS solution and ample evidence that the industry is aggressively adopting new business models," said Steve Nilan, vice president, marketing, DTI, "DTI is excited to be an integral part of the industry's transformation.".

It is cost-effective by nature, and publishers across the United States are adapting to the new business model and seeing an immediate improvement in operating costs.

"DTI has invested heavily over the last three years perfecting the most complete SaaS (software as a service) solution for the news media industry," said Dan Paulus, vice president, sales, DTI. "Publishers know that they have to continue transform their business models and control costs. DTI Cloud can play a major part in that transformation. DTI Cloud puts money back into our customers' core business, publishing, leaving DTI experts to maintain their non-core, yet essential, IT infrastructure."

"Having our entire suite of content management, circulation and advertising and financial solutions in the cloud for mission-critical deadline publishing is a unique benefit for our customers. It is also why we can say DTI Cloud provides 'everything you need - wherever you are'," said Nilan.

Based on the success at DTI's North American data centers, the company intends its next roll-out of its SaaS solutions across Europe and, ultimately, worldwide.
