Springville, Utah-- April 12, 2010 -- Digital Technology International (DTI™) has announced that it has signed an agreement with Cox Media Group (a division of Cox Enterprises) to install DTI's next generation publishing solutions in a centralized data center that will help Cox achieve its goals for enterprise-wide standardization and business efficiency. This deal covers all Cox Media Group newspapers: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Cox Ohio Publications (Dayton), Palm Beach Newspapers Inc., the Austin American-Statesman, as well as each paper's community publications.

DTI ContentPublisher for multimedia news production and DTI Advertising, which combines order entry and accounts receivables/billing into a single system, are the new solutions of the project. Cox Media Group had recently signed an agreement with DTI to install DTI Circulation, the market leading suite of circulation, distribution, marketing, and reporting software. The standardization on DTI solutions will deliver cost savings and the ability to collaborate across Cox properties.

DTI Cloud projects are already underway for individual news and classifieds systems with other newspaper partners, but this project combines news and advertising systems into a single environment."

Representatives from Cox's daily newspapers participated in an evaluation process to select the best solution to improve publishing and advertising operations. Each of the four newspapers is currently using DTI systems for editorial and advertising content creation and publishing, but each have separate legacy systems for AR and billing. This project will eliminate the legacy systems giving them a unified system, improving integration.
